The company has formed proprietary technologies for synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, organic monomers, catalysts, additives, gasoline isomerisation, lubricating oil processing and fine chemicals. It now owns 4 national patents, 10 proprietary technologies at the group company’s level, and many technological packages for petrochemical design. It has the capacity and proven track records of designing pilot test technologies or basic designs into industrialized units, and can design, general contract and supervise many large-scale industrial and civil construction projects.

More than 10 of them won such honours as the Copper Key Award for General Contractors of National Projects, Flying Award for Provincial Construction Projects and Golden Award for High-Quality Chinese Petroleum Projects. more than 50 projects won the national, provincial and ministerial-level excellent design, technical progress and scientific invention awards. In the recent 3 years, the company completed a large number of construction projects, such as Lanzhou Petrochemical Co.’s 50,000 tonnes/year BR unit, Liaoning Huajin Group’s 340,000 tonnes/year gasoline hydrogenation unit, design of Ningbo Keyuan Plastics Co., Ltd.’s 80,000 tonnes/year styrene unit, Lanzhou Petrochemical Co.’s 80,000 tonnes/year MTBE unit, 40,000 tons/year 1-butylene unit, EPC of Guangxi East Oil Asphalt’s 400,000 tonnes/year butane de-asphalting project, Lanzhou Petrochemical Co.’s 5.5 million tonnes/year crude oil unit, supervision of Qinghai’s project for comprehensive use of 1 million tonnes/year potash fertilizer, management of Lanzhou Petrochemical’s 80,000 tonnes/year acrylic acid, acrylic resin projects, and established a good image in the market.
