CNPC Jiangsu LNG Project held its completion ceremony on the 8th of November, 2011 in Jiangsu. Vice-Chairman of CPPCC Mr. Li Jinhua, other government officials from Jiangsu Province, Chairman of the Board of CNPC Mr. Jiang Jiemin, and CNPC Vice-President Mr. Liao Yongyuan attended the ceremony.

HQC President Mr. Wang Shihong, on behalf of HQC as the project EPC contractor, made a speech during the ceremony. Mr. Wang Shihong extended robust appreciation to related governments and CNPC for their great support on the project. Under their support, Jiangsu LNG project made several new records in China’s LNG industry, which included self-independent research, self-independent design, self-independent procurement, self-independent construction, self-independent commissioning, and self-independent management.

Mr. Wang Shihong also extended heartfelt thanks to Jiangsu LNG Project Owner. The owner’s advanced and efficient management created a harmonious working environment for the project, which greatly smoothed the project execution. He further expressed appreciation to all involved parties for their sincere cooperation on the project. Mr. Wang Shihong also showed gratitude to all engineers for their great contribution.

Jiangsu LNG Project was China’s first self-independently executed LNG project. It had strengthened HQC’s solid leading position in China LNG engineering industry. HQC will further make greater effort on Jiangsu LNG Phase-II Project.
