HQC signed an EPC contract on Safaniya Upgrade Onshore Flare System Project with Arabian American Oil Company. Saudi Aramco or the Arabian American Oil Company of Saudi Arabia, which holds the largest oil reserves in the world.Saudi Aramco is a fully integrated international petroleum company, and is the state-owned national oil company of Saudi Arabia. Headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, its core businesses include crude oil exploration, production, manufacture, marketing, and shipping. It is the largest company in the world. Saudi Aramco, as the world’s leading energy company, has been exploring for oil and gas reservoirs since 1982.
The project was located at Safaniya LNG plant in Saudi. The project required to upgrade three (3) elevated conventional flares at the Safaniya onshore plants. The upgrade will recover the routine operational flare gas through a "Flare Gas Recovery System" that will serve to eliminate or control the visible smoke from these Safaniya plants.
