In recent years, the equipment manufacturing company has mainly manufactured more than 800 petrochemical equipment and pre-installed more than 10 million tons of steel for CNPC, SINOPEC, CNOOC and other local chemical companies. The Qinzhou Equipment Manufacture Company owns manufacturing technology about large equipment, thick-walled steel containers, and composite material. The company broadly applies the TOFD detection method, CO2 gas shielded welding, and submerged arc welding technology.
The company has extensive manufacturing experience on manufacturing large equipment and thick-walled vessels. Among the products, the heaviest one is 855 tons in weight, 83mm in thickness, 67 meters in height, and 8 meters in diameter. Meanwhile, the company mastered the manufacturing skills for special materials and equipment, and gained the manufacturing skills for composite CrMo steel, composite steel MONEL, stainless steel equipment and other thick-walled containers which is made of special materials and is higher value-added. These kind of skills can grant 83mm in the welding thickness. As to the heat treatment skill on large equipment and steel structures, internal combustion heat treatment technology has obtained the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award and national patent.
