Responsibilities: You will be responsible for: • enforcing the implementation of the HSE plans developed and ensuring that the workplace comply with statutory requirements • Implementing and promoting Safety, Health & Environmental Programmes including Risk Assessment control and measures • Compliance of safety procedures or regulations for all machinery, equipments, appliances or processes • Upgrading safety awareness through regular site safety inspection and follow up actions • Investigating incidents & recommend corrective actions • Developing & conducting in-house safety induction courses and trainings for employees & contractors • Implementing risk assessment and controls on site activities • Liaising with client, contractors and regulatory authorities on WSH issues Requirements: • Must have more than fifteen years job site working experience managed a team in a large-scale chemical/petrochemical project as a HSE manager; • Must have a good understanding of safety legislation and statutory requirements • Ability to lead a team and work with all levels of staff • Ability to drive the team and work under pressure
