Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and maintain the company’s quality management system (QMS) to the client’s requirement and to ISO standards
- Responsible for corrective actions required from internal quality audits, client requirements, non-conformance and management review
- Lead & manage the QA & QC team and inspectors to ensure that the quality of the construction works , testing and commissioning schedules meet the quality standards of the Company and International Standards
- Perform external quality audit on vendors and subcontractors when required
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operation of QA & QC activities
- Monitor compliance and provide periodic reports/updates on performance to management
- Review QA, QC policies and procedures against company goals and objectives and recommend changes when necessary
- Co-ordinate Quality Management meetings with contractors and the production team on QMS matters
- ?Devise, implement, co-ordinate and conduct QMS training
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in xxxxxx Engineering with at least 15 years of experience as a QA/QC manager or construction chief engineer of large-scale petrochemical project;
- Welding Inspector Certification (AWS - CSWIP) will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge & experience with the petrochemical plant codes for construction and acceptance;
- Strong technical and problem solving skills with an eye for details and quality
- ? Ability to lead a team and work with all levels of staff
- ? Ability to take work pressure and work within tight timelines.
