Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and execution of process design activities including analysis of system hydraulics, mass and heat transfer calculations, and design/evaluation of process unit operations. You will also:
• Observe process units to ensure maximum production and profit by daily process conditions adjusted as per Lab results and co-ordinate with Operations for daily operation conditions adjustments
• Coordinates and/or performs project duties including process simulation, development of heat and material balance calculations, and preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Leads in the development and design of major projects, requiring the use of advanced techniques, and the evaluation of new or improved processes, equipment and technologies. Includes design leadership, marketing and project management responsibilities.
• Conduct process studies and test runs as assigned for operations and maintenance support and long term performance improvements
• Review and issue new modification proposals for refinery process improvement.
• Provide follow-up for approved projects and related works. Provide technical support needed for modifications.
• Perform complex process engineering assignments for oil and gas and petrochemical projects according to regional process design standards.
• Provide assistance to design groups as required in the preparation of equipment specifications, vessel specifications, instrumentation criteria, plot plans, general arrangement drawings and project manuals.
• Prepare bid evaluations and review supplier drawings on equipment designed in Process Engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to computer aided design (CAD) drafters and lower level process engineers working on the same project.
• Assist in preparation of operation and training manuals.
Requirements:
• Basic / Masters degree with a major in Petroleum Refining
• At least 5 years experience as a process engineer in Refinery, Petrochemical or Design Institute
• Good knowledge & experience of Simulation Program PRO-II or ASPEN, Packing and tray column design
• Experience in an International Company or overseas work experience is preferred.

• Ability to lead and work with a team will be an advantage
